Getting through some traditional handicraft villages in Hoi An
A great escape from hectic, busy Hoi An , we go to visit Tra Que vegetable village then riding to Cam Kim island before head to Cam Thanh coconut village.
Riding through many alleys and muddy roads to feel breeze vibe.

The first stop is Tra Que vegetable and herbs village – that still use traditional techniques and organic seaweeds fertilizer to produce crops which is providing plenty of fresh herbs to Hoi An services and Da Nang markets.
Cam Kim island
Next stop, it could be Cam Kim island with full of things.
- First visit is rice paper making house where to learn the process and experience yourself. Surprisingly, they will tell you how many kilogram they make and how much they earn a day.
- Second visit is to stop by at wooden statues workshop and ship building courtyard. Take a walk around to pick one as souvenir and meet local to have a story of 400 years old of courtyard which is almost faded occupation by far.
- Third one should be sleeping mattress weaving where local greets you with a smile and take your hand to help you experience .
Heading through rural coconut paths with cool breeze have nice pictures along the way before stop at bamboo basket boat
